Physiotutors Online Courses B.V.
Version 1.0, valid from 6 November 2026

These terms apply to all online courses (study.physiotutors.com) and in-person courses offered by Physiotutors Online Courses B.V. They do not apply to the Physiotutors membership, the app or the e-books, which are provided by Physiotutors B.V. under their own terms.

Article 1. Who we are

1.1 The courses are provided by Physiotutors Online Courses B.V., a private limited company under Dutch law, Zeilmakerstraat 20, 1991 JC Velserbroek, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 94144710, VAT number NL866652620B01 (“Physiotutors”, “we”, “us”).

1.2 You can reach us by email at info@physiotutors.com (questions and complaints) and shop@physiotutors.com (orders, invoices and refunds). Our postal address is the address in Article 1.1.

Article 2. Definitions

2.1 Course: an online course on study.physiotutors.com or an in-person course, as described on its course page.

2.2 Participant: the person who follows the course.

2.3 Customer: the person or organisation that buys the course. This can be the participant or, for example, an employer.

2.4 Consumer: a customer who buys a course as a private individual, not in the course of a business or profession.

2.5 Course page: the page on physiotutors.com or study.physiotutors.com that describes a course.

Article 3. Course information

3.1 Each course page states at least: the title, content, objectives, target group, level, entry requirements, study load, the instructor(s), the materials included, the assessment (quizzes) and any accreditation.

3.2 Our courses are post-graduate continuing education for physiotherapists and related health professionals. Unless the course page says otherwise, a degree in physiotherapy (or a related profession named on the course page) is required. Final-year students may take a course where the course page says so.

3.3 Online courses are self-paced. The course page states the total study load in hours. You decide how many hours per week you spend on it.

3.4 We do not grant exemptions for parts of a course. Every participant completes the full course.

3.5 We take care that course information is accurate and up to date. If we change a course after you bought it, for example to update it to new evidence, you keep access to the updated version.

Article 4. Registration and formation of the agreement

4.1 Online courses: the agreement is formed when you complete the order on study.physiotutors.com and the payment is received. You receive an order confirmation by email with your invoice and a link to these terms.

4.2 In-person courses: you register via the registration form on the course page. The agreement is formed when we confirm your registration by email. Your place is final once the course fee has been paid (Article 6).

4.3 By ordering or registering you accept these terms. You can download and save these terms at any time from physiotutors.com/course-terms/.

Article 5. Price and what is included

5.1 The course fee is stated on the course page. Prices for consumers include VAT where VAT applies.

5.2 Included in the course fee, online courses: access to all course content (videos, texts, downloads such as slides and clinical toolkits), the quizzes, the course Q&A with the instructor, and a certificate of completion after passing the course (Article 10). There are no extra costs for study materials, unless the course page says otherwise.

5.3 Included in the course fee, in-person courses: the course days, the course materials and what the course page lists (for example lunch, snacks or parking). Travel and accommodation are not included.

5.4 Business customers in the EU outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT number can buy without VAT (reverse charge). Please contact us before ordering.

5.5 Regional prices: for some countries we offer a lower regional price for online courses. The price shown depends on the location of your internet connection. Regional prices are only meant for people who live in that country. If your billing address is in a country without that regional price, the regular price for your country applies. In that case we may ask you to pay the difference, or cancel the order and refund the full amount.

Article 6. Payment

6.1 Online courses are paid in full at checkout. The available payment methods (such as credit card and other instant methods) are shown at checkout. If a third party (for example your employer) pays, we can send an invoice first. Access starts once the invoice has been paid.

6.2 In-person courses are paid by invoice. The payment term is 14 days after the invoice date, and in any case before the start of the course.

6.3 We do not offer payment in instalments.

6.4 If you do not pay on time, we send a reminder with a further 14 days to pay. If payment is still not received, we may deny access to the course and charge the statutory collection costs. For consumers we only do this after the reminder.

Article 7. Duration and access

7.1 Online courses: the access period is stated on the course page at the time of purchase (for example 2 years, or unlimited). “Unlimited” or “lifetime” access means access for as long as we offer the course on our platform. If we retire a course, we notify you at least 3 months in advance, so you can finish it and download your certificate.

7.2 In-person courses: the agreement covers the course days stated on the course page.

7.3 Access is personal. You may not share your login.

Article 8. Right of withdrawal and money-back guarantee

8.1 Online courses, consumers: online courses are digital content that we deliver immediately after payment. At checkout you expressly agree that access starts immediately and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal (Article 6:230p under g of the Dutch Civil Code). We confirm this in the order confirmation email.

8.2 48-hour money-back guarantee: in addition to the law, we offer a voluntary money-back guarantee on online courses. If a course is not what you expected, you get a full refund if you ask within 48 hours of purchase, as long as you have completed less than 10% of the course.

8.3 In-person courses, consumers: you have a cooling-off period of 14 days after we confirm your registration. Within that period you can cancel free of charge, without giving a reason, by emailing shop@physiotutors.com. This also applies if your employer pays the course fee but you registered as a consumer. If the course starts within those 14 days and you asked to take part, you pay a proportional part of the fee for the course days already given.

8.4 Business customers: if a business or organisation enters into the agreement, there is no cooling-off period. Article 8.2 does apply.

Article 9. Cancellation and refunds

9.1 Cancellation by the participant, in-person courses, after the cooling-off period:
– more than 6 weeks before the start: we charge 10% of the course fee as administration costs;
– between 6 and 2 weeks before the start: 50% of the course fee is due;
– less than 2 weeks before the start: 100% of the course fee is due.

You may always send a replacement participant at no extra cost. Please let us know their name in advance.

9.2 Cancellation by us: we may cancel an in-person course if there are fewer than 15 registrations or because of circumstances beyond our control, such as illness of the instructor. In that case we offer you an alternative date. If you do not want the alternative date, you get a full refund of the course fee.

9.3 Missing (part of) an in-person course does not entitle you to a refund. Where possible you may make up missed days in a later edition of the same course.

9.4 Online courses: after the 48-hour guarantee (Article 8.2) there is no refund, unless the course is not delivered as described.

9.5 Refund deadline: refund requests go to shop@physiotutors.com. We pay every refund within 7 days after we approved it, using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.

Article 10. Quizzes, certificate and accreditation

10.1 Online courses contain quizzes. The number of quizzes is shown in the course curriculum. To pass the course you must pass every quiz. The pass mark is 70% correct answers, unless the course states another pass mark before the quiz starts.

10.2 You can take each quiz up to 3 times. If you have not passed after 3 attempts, you can ask us to reset the quiz via info@physiotutors.com, after studying the related units again.

10.3 After passing all quizzes and completing the course you can download a certificate of completion stating the course, the study load in hours and the date.

10.4 Recognition: our courses are continuing professional development (CPD). The certificate is not a legally recognised qualification and gives no legal authorisation to practise (no “civiel effect”). Where a course is accredited by a professional body (for example KNGF/Keurmerk Fysiotherapie in the Netherlands or ProQ-Kiné in Belgium), the course page states the body and the number of points. Accreditation points are registered by that professional body under its own rules. Where accreditation is still pending, the course page says so.

10.5 In-person courses have no quizzes, unless the course page says otherwise. You receive a certificate of attendance when you have attended the full course.

Article 11. Questions and support

11.1 You can ask questions about the content of an online course in the course Q&A. The instructor or our team answers within 7 days.

11.2 Administrative questions (for example about payment, access, invoices or certificates) can be sent to info@physiotutors.com. We answer within 7 days, usually much faster.

Article 12. Intellectual property and course materials

12.1 All course materials (videos, texts, slides, toolkits, quizzes) are protected by copyright. The copyright rests with Physiotutors Online Courses B.V. and/or the instructor of the course.

12.2 You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the course materials for your own education. Downloaded materials may be kept for your personal use. Ownership of the course materials remains with Physiotutors Online Courses B.V. and/or the instructor; you do not acquire ownership.

12.3 You may not copy, share, sell, publish or use the course materials for your own teaching or commercial purposes without our written permission. If you do, we may end your access without refund.

Article 13. Confidentiality and privacy

13.1 We treat all information you give us confidentially. Our staff and instructors are bound by confidentiality.

13.2 We process personal data in line with the GDPR and our privacy statement (physiotutors.com/privacy-statement/).

13.3 During in-person courses participants keep personal information of other participants and patient cases confidential.

Article 14. Liability

14.1 Our courses are education, not individual clinical advice. You remain responsible for how you apply what you learn in your own practice.

14.2 Except in case of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the course fee paid for the course concerned.

Article 15. Complaints

15.1 If you are not satisfied, please let us know. Our complaints procedure (physiotutors.com/complaints-procedure/) describes how we handle complaints, who handles them, the deadlines, and the appeal to an independent third party whose decision is binding on us.

Article 16. Applicable law and changes

16.1 Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers in their own country.

16.2 We may change these terms. The version that applied at the time of your purchase or registration remains valid for that course.
