Arjan Elshof, MSc.
He worked for almost 12 years at Sport Medisch Centrum Almere, where he grew from physiotherapist to senior manual therapist and team lead. During those years he focused on shoulder rehab and rehab of overhead athletes. He worked with the Dutch baseball federation as a coach and team physiotherapist and spoke at international conferences about dynamic rehab after shoulder surgery.
Arjan holds a Master’s degree in Manual Therapy and a Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, and completed training in dry needling and sports rehab. Alongside this, he built an online presence through his Instagram account “that_physio_guy” and his platform yourphysio.online, where he treated patients remotely long before e-health became common practice.
After more than ten years of clinical work, teaching, and leadership, Arjan decided to leave physiotherapy. He now works at Zilveren Kruis, where he contributes to care that is ready for the future.
