Bahram Jam earned his BSc in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto (1992), a Clinical Master’s in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland (1999), and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Andrews University (2009). He holds the Canadian Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and McKenzie Institute credentials.

He is the founder and director of the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute (APTEI) and has taught over a thousand postgraduate orthopedic courses in Canada and abroad. Alongside teaching, he continues to practice and provide direct patient care.

Bahram has authored several books on pain and wellness, including The Pain Truth, When a Back Goes Out, Where Does It Really Go?, and Health Tips to Learn from Children, Chimps, and Your Physical Therapist. He is also developing PAIN: The Musical, a stage production designed to help people with chronic pain improve their relationship with pain and themselves.
